Most parents in Ontario want sexual health education for their kids!

For children who do not have access to information about human sexuality at home, I am grateful for the new approach being implemented in our provincial school system.

The new Health & Physical Education curriculum is very much in line with my values: active living, courageous communication, taking responsibility for one's health, and that of others. As a parent of daughters, I want to prevent sexual assault. As an educator, I want to reduce rates of teen suicide among young members of LGBTQ2S communities. As a performer and an academic, my writing always revolves around family relationships. I believe the best thing we can do for our kids is nurture peace and pleasure in our long-term partnerships.

I hope you will join me in voicing your support of the new curriculum by visiting https://www.facebook.com/pages/People-for-Ontarios-Sex-Ed-Curriculum/108307772833627?fref=ts. Thank you.
