Domestic Blitz

Circus, sex toys, and scuba diving! This is what you get when you put artists and family educators in one room, giving professional input on my independent project, Domestic Blitz, at KaZa Family Centre on Thursday, January 15, 2015. It was a valuable discussion with esteemed colleagues, preparing my proposal for a Community Arts grant from the Toronto Arts Council. Domestic Blitz is a series of social gatherings for parents in east Toronto, starting late September, 2015, and culminating in a "Closing Night" show in late May, 2016, featuring a pub crawl along Danforth, a dance lesson, and a late-night party with Train Wreck, a 10-piece community cover band! Domestic Blitz made Thursday's group feel "inspired" and "connected" and it can do the same for you. Send me a message if you'd like to participate.
